I have often said "he's no Steven Gerrard" after a disappointing shot from the edge of the box from Jordan Henderson, but not today.
In fact over the last couple of seasons Henderson has surpassed Stevie G in my opinion.

You'd have to go a fair way to surpass Gerrard langland. That man dragged us through to major honours with some extremely poor players in our squad.
Hendo is a fantastic captain and he probably learned a lot from Gerrard. Hendo may win some trophies than Gerrard didn't but Gerrard is still one of the best LFC players ever.

Hendo is an amazing Captain, great player and more importantly, a really decent bloke and great role model for youngsters in the way he conducts himself on and off the pitch.
