Possibly ndombele if he perform at the same level he did in France.

Good point, however I think Keane would have been good business at 25mln to rotate with Mane/ Salah, or perhaps Sessegnon to strengthen our options at LB or LW if Mane/ Robbo need a rest. Not too fussed with our business however as Shaqiri is also a very strong option at wide forward and hope he has a great season.

If you're trying to tell me that Craig Dawson and James McCarthy don't walk straight into our first team, you're kidding yourself.

At the very least Dawson would provide a different option up front. Has the makings of some of the striking greats, Drogba, Shearer, Steven Caulker etc.

You are right which player signed would want to come and wait on the bench at Anfield.
It could be worse we could have tried for Rojo and failed.

{Ed025's Note - nice deflection there tyler...at least we spent a bit mate..

Ed25, LFC could stop spending for three years and your lot wold still be behind us in terms of performances and league finishes. Also if any club needed to sign players, it would be your lot. You haave spent about 250m in the past two summer windows only to finish mid table in both seasons. We don't need to make big signings cos well, we already did that effectively. Can't say the same for your lot. Oh n btw, the likes of Delph, Iwobi etc? You are welcome to them.

{Ed025's Note - the thing is redwolf that we are playing catch up, we know where we want to be but getting there is not easy mate, i think delph could be a good signing to be honest, hes versatile and never cost a lot just like gareth barry, iwobi im unsure about..

I fully agree with you, Ed25 BUT I think you guys could have gotten much better value for the dough you have spent. For me 50m for Ritchie and Sigurdsson at the time, was a too much based on their upside. Ritchie is not improving and Gylfi was never worth that amount. Michael Keane at 30m? No way, man. Mina at 40m? Add another 10m and you could have Zouma right now. Now you have Iwobi at 35m? Come on, man. These are expensive signings for well, good players and nothing more, IMO. We'll see what happens, tho cos this season is going to b full of surprises.

{Ed025's Note - to be fair its not my money redwolf, and so long as they dont knock on my door looking for a contribution they can spend as much as the want mate..

Why would spending a bit be a reason to brag? Everton spent a bit last season too but went backwards.
