Listening to a podcast yesterday and it was said that Liverpool were likely holding out to put pressure on the Saints to reduce the asking price because he wants to move and they need funds to get their championship squad ready for 2 weeks time.

If someone else had a bid accepted then it would force Liverpool to make their decision on whether to match it or walk away but they were prepared to play the waiting game.

They mentioned another issue would be if Hendo and Fab both move then their negotiating position of claiming poverty would be weakened.

I think Bulk's point is maybe posters should take a minute to read the site (RFTP) before they just post what's on their mind - it may have already been covered in the previous thread. But I do love a good "your post was bitchy so you're better off saying nothing but I'm still going to call you out on it cuz I can't let it go so I'm going to be bitchy right back instead of letting it go like I told you to do" back and forth pointless post.
