Agree on all you said but i would even say the first 45mins was probably one of the worst first halfs ever played by 2 teams in PL.

Ed, is the way we are playing right now the way Slot envisioned us playing? Or is it more that the players don’t really suit the way he wants us to play, but he keeps forcing them to play his way, and when you add the fitness issues the players are clearly having right now, that’s why we’ve seen such lackluster performances this season? Also, what happened to the players’ meeting where there were concerns about the way we are playing this season? Has that just been brushed aside by the coaching team?

{Ed001's Note - it is closer to what he wants, which is slow and steady and controlled, then looking to creative players (mainly Wirtz) to make the difference.

The players' meeting saw some changes, we are seeing improved results so there is little reason for them to complain again.}

So Ed, are you saying that the players somehow endorse this style just cos it is yielding results in the short term?

Now I would understand that cos at the end of the day, players want to win and whatever way to get the win, they will endorse for now.
