Everton didn't give Anfield to Liverpool, it's actually the other way round. Everton were John Houlding's tenants, and then he made his own team - Liverpool.

He made two great signings which weren't flavour of the month players that everyone wanted. Some people refuse to be pleased.

Ali definitely misses more games than the average goalkeeper.
Our long term injury record worries me. I don't yet want to blame staff because I don't have enough information, but every year we go through this and it's probably cost us a league title or two, IMO. We haven't had a good season injury-wise since we won the league, which isn't a coincidence.
Ali shouldn't be injured this often, considering how efficiently he moves his body around, unlike someone like Pickford.
It just feels like every time we get a full squad back, another 3, 4 or 5 suddenly go down for another prolonged period of time. We can never get in front of the 8 ball. And then you look at City, whom apart from the odd KDB injury don't seem to have any troubles with it.

I don't remember Thiago 'not fitting in' when he was a key member of the quadruple chasing team. When fit, he fit the team. People are just making things up because everyone has to run their own narrative now.

Hate to be harsh on Doak but he just hasn't got it, I never felt swayed by the hype. Even in his compilation videos against lower skilled youth and reserve opponents, he lacks too much control and poise to convince me that he'll be a top level premier league forward.

I don't think Chelsea's academy strategy is something to be scoffed at as it's been very important to their financial sustainability.
The Real Madrid academy is there to make money too (I think they supply more of La Liga's players than anyone else) .
What I will say is that everyone loves to go wax lyrical about United's famed academy - they haven't produced anyone of note since 1992.
Look at who we have produced and still are producing since then (of note) :
Fowler
Gerrard
Carragher
Owen
McManaman
Trent
Jones
Bradley (already calling it)
*Bajcetic one to keep an eye on
Did I miss anyone?
I know this has turned into a United rant but they are the most over glamorised, over glorified, over promoted, overrated club in the history of sport.
