Hi Eds.
I was reading an article (can't remember where now) that stated Liverpool retained a buyback option on Nikolay Mihailov when he was sold to FC Twente. Do you know if this is true?
I used the search function, but couldn't find an answer!

Not a rumour, just a question for the eds.
Saw an article online (can't remember where now, but will look for it) that Liverpool should try get Cortese in at the club as he did very good work at Southampton as chairman. I know Ayre is MD at the moment, but he seems to be doing very good work on the sponsorship and endorsement side. Get Cortese in to run the club and free Ayre up to work on sponsorships and endorsements? The article made sense, but I really don't know enough about Cortese and his abilities apart from seeing the rise of Southampton in recent times.
Thoughts on him as a chairman and if it is a feasible idea? Not asking if it's possible, as I doubt it would happen, just want an opinion.

You are correct. Caulker was included in the squad as they weren't sure Flanno would be ready.
