Hi eds, have you heard of any interest we have in Andreas weiman of Aston villa? Just seen something that Brendan Rodgers rates and is interested.

Please God, I hope not! {Ed002's Note - See earlier answers.}

Biggy Ballz

1.) Why do you hope not? He's only 21, this is his first full season as a pro- playing in one of the toughest Leagues for a struggling team, and he's doing brilliantly. He's a great young player and would be a clever buy in my opinion

2.) I agree with the first reply, he's playing well considering he's playing in a struggling team. If interested and available on the cheap he's worth a shout, he could be a new Dirk type player.

3.) I'd definitely have him!

Rumour has is that Eduardo Vargas to QPR on season long loan with option to buy for £8.5m. why didn't we go in for him?

At that price, he would be a bargain. I know there may some third party issues and such but how have QPR nearly managed to land him?

Biggy Ballz

{Ed002's Note - Surely not another player Liverpool has missed out on?}

We will look at him next season, If QPR gets relegated.

Lallana may miss start of the season after suffering knee injury in training. .source: ssn

Biggy Ballz

1.) Gutted about that!

2.) Thats why we need Gaitan or Shaqiri or even Konoplyanka.

3.) That's why, Chris, we have purchased the likes of Markovic, in case someone gets injured. It called squad depth, something we have a lot of in the attacking areas.

4.) Lets not forget that Sterling got his spot few years ago due to loss of form of other players.

what is to say that Ibe wouldn't get his chance now? or Suso? an injury does not mean we have to buy, unless its a long term injury like ACL or something. 6 weeks is long, I know, but I think we can cope.

Liverpool leading by a goal to nil at half time. Manchester United got a couple of attacks in at the end but we defended magnificently.

Henderson has done a lot of running but that's it really.

However Liverpool looking comfortable at old Trafford dominated possession.

Actually it's a team in the Kosovo superleague called hajvalia that is looking to make an offer of taking Suarez on loan whilst he is banned by FIFA, as the Kosovo league does not come under FIFA's jurisdiction.

I think a big strong forward like bony or lukaku would be good. It gives us another option when you play teams like Chelsea who have strong defenders who are good in the air.

If you look back at the Chelsea game, we crossed the ball numerous times into the area and it was always headed out by a Chelsea player.

Look at the difference that Andy Carroll made in the FA cup final against Chelsea a couple of seasons ago.

It gives us another dimension.

I totally agree with the Ed. I think joe Allen is a cracking little player. When gerrard was injured and we had him, Henderson and coutinho in midfield, we actually played better than with gerrard playing!

He also made the difference when he came on against Swansea, he made us more confident on the ball and we had more opportunities at goal whilst he was on.

He is very underrated but he is actually a very technically solid player. All those supposed 'fans' who think he isn't that good, obviously don't know much about football.

The guy is being honest, simple as. And I respect him for it. He knows he plays for the one of the biggest clubs in the world but he also knows that this elite club is not playing in the champions league and that's what he wants to play in. However, doesn't mean he will go, just means he will consider what is best for him as a footballer.

Little gunner, Sanchez only chose arsenal over LFC as his wife wanted to live in london, even though we were prepared to offer more than what arsenal were.
And just to point, whilst Sanchez has done ok at barca, and had a good World Cup, he doesn't have epl experience which is totally different kettle of fish to what he is used to.
Bony does have epl experience and has done very well. Liverpool do have money but aren't going to spend it just because they feel they have to buy a so-called marquee signing. mesut ozil, £42m. really? I'd chose Coutinho or Henderson over him all day long. And remember, we make players great, we don't need to buy players.

Sanchez's wife wanted to live in London, that's why he chose arsenal. Liverpool wanted him and were even willing to pay him more than arsenal, so it's not lack of ambition, the guy just didn't want to play for Liverpool. Personally I think he's made a mistake choosing arsenal over Liverpool but we'll find out this season.

Yaya toure? He would more than compensate for the loss if Suarez. If only kolo could persuade him to join. and us make a bid for him of course ha ha

And yet we have one team who consistently bottles it every season and another which plays the game without fear.

I agree, it's absolutely farcical and makes us England fans look stupid!
