{Ed023's Note - According to Macca they have looked at Ancelotti to come in so of course they have made moves to replacing him - actually doing it is another thing. He comments at the weekend really annoyed me - he went hiding after the Carlise game and then comes out after the win against a poor Villa side like we were the side that beat City 4-1, it's embarrassing}

I don't think I have ever seen or heard a more embarrassing presser. As soon as the rumour was surfaced, he hid away from the media not once, but twice. He finally showed his face again in the pre-match presser, and his body language and tone could not be more defeated, more passive, nor more resigned. He seemed to accept that his job was rightly at high risk.

Suddenly, Liverpool win 3-2 against a championship-quality team in a game that in general reflected *slightly* above average quality at the most. Great goals from Sturridge and Milner, but apart from that, the attack was slow and directionless, and the defence was less organised than a bachelor pad before netflix and chill. It was the same old bloody sh!te that would have been eaten up by better teams.

I understand why my comment was edited by the eds but it took away from the whole point of my comment- the absurdity of Rodgers beating his chest, shaming the 'conspirators' after only one scrappy win.

I agree Ed023, but what gets on my t*ts is him coming out saying that he can work with top players and if you give him the tools and he will do the rest!

How fu@*king arrogant is he, here's your manager coming out and basically saying that his current team are sh*te (even though he's spent over 200 million during the last two seasons)and all this is not his fault!

The man is deluded.

{Ed023's Note - I know, anytime the man opens his gob it's laughable. Every transfer what has happened in his time was all him yet he is basically saying give me more freedom and you will get better results}

Spot on ed23, what irked me was the indirect dig at the players he has as not being good enough despite being handed 80m to personally pick and bring in the quality he craves. Then ironically the same players he digs at come out saying they are galvanised in support of him. Go figure.

{Ed023's Note - It's a very strange situation going on at the club - Ed001 pointed out he doesn't watch enough football, you wonder did he ever see Firmino play for example? Playing him on the wing against Arsenal, West Ham and Man United would suggest he hasn't}
