First time poster, long time reader.
I know a lot of people may not want Rodgers in the job and the fixture list hasn't been too kind this year, especially the start of the season and all of the tough away games.
But, how is everyone feeling abouy the sea son as a whole. I personally think we will be fine and that if all the new players click we should get top four.
I don't agree with all the signings but at the same time think they are all good players, but maybe not all needed.
Here's to hoping that it all clicks and we have a great season.

Surely these games at the start of the season is beneficial? I'd rather them now then in the thick of things when hopefully we're in the Europa knockouts and fa cup.

Not sure about the Europa argument as those tough away games we have early doors are against CL teams that might suffer more than us due to congestion. They've probably got smaller squads too.
But it's better to get them over with now - at the beginning of the season there's always a few random results.
If we are in the mix at the beginning of November then it's game on.

Well that as well was the point I was trying to make user013. Overall I was just trying to say you can't blame anything on a bad fixture list as at the end of the day what were some people expecting 2 home games against man u arsenal Chelsea etc. And as you said there are some weird results at the start of the season and if we win one or two early there's no reason for momentum not to pick up. The site will explode if we have 22+ points from first 10 games!

I always look forward to the new season, I think we've made changes that will take us forward, Sean and Gary coming into the club will guide the lads on the training ground to be better organised defensively. I have noticed already while watching the fitness matches you can see that players are not just pressing all the time, but actually covering spaces on the pitch. We could of easily got 4th last season, but for the lack of goals. Benteke, Ings, Origi, Firmino,and Milner,have been added and all carry a goal threat. Lalana, Coutinho and Henderson are players capable of reaching more than they got last season. Ibe will score and Can will score more playing further forward. And we also have a player who can now have the time to fully recover from injuries, named Sturridge a proven goal scorer. The squad managed correctly should easily challenge top 4.We will be better coached and score more goals this season.Come On You Reds.

Enrique has to go especially now that Gomez has shown himself capable of playing left fullback pretty well. Borini will leave and balotelli if we find a buyer or a decent loan deal.
I think markovic could go on loan and maybe a few more who won't get a chance fot some reason like ilori or teixera.
