Like many of you I have been very disappointed with the likes of Suso, Lucas, Gerrard etc.
What we do not usually consider however, is the thoughts of the player, and what they want. We always assume that they are forced out in a poor move by BR, when there could be many other reasons that he has no control over.
What if they actually want to leave? I am as guilty as the rest of you in thinking this couldn't possibly be the case.
If we are honest with ourselves we can see that there are clearly unhappy players at Liverpool. Lucas wants out and a new challenge. Suso obviously had problems with the manager that were not going to improve. Gerrard played superbly against Wimbledon and suddenly everyone is gutted that he is leaving - so what about the fact that he has been very average for over 2 years now?
I truly believe that the squad has better depth now, and those guys are really young. Even Brendan will probably admit that he went OTT with the 'promising talent' and missed veteran quality.
This year has been depressing to say the least, but we have a young team, a new stadium expansion on the way, and we have just started to gel.

Evenin' all,
I wanted to share some chat I heard today at work. A colleague has reason to believe that BR is looking at Bojan from Stoke City. Has anyone else heard this? He is not someone I thought of before, but he looks pretty tidy.
On another note, I wish Suso all the best with whomever he joins. The kid is class, and I look forward to seeing him flourish, even if it is elsewhere. BR, you have let yourself down there mate.
1.) Rodgers has been losing all plots for a while now. I feel it's a matter of time before he gets the sack. There are players out there that are capable of improving the team but he prefers looking abroad and still ended up with people that finds it difficult to blend. His philosophy is brilliant but has of now still not improve, defensive attributes is lacking and Man management. Most of the coaches a d managers that are prolific in their career has been a good Man management manager.
2.) I hope not, we'd end up paying well over the odds for a mediocre player as usual.
3.) We've been looking at him for last 3 years. Summer was the time to get him when he would have been worth a cheap punt. Now he will cost a fair bit.
