Hello to all: long time reader first time poster I believe is the saying. Just wanted to gauge other reds views on this subject. Recently been looking into ticket prices and waiting lists etc on the website and have been appalled. The massive waiting list and demand due to our fan base I can understand but the prices are beyond ridiculous. The only reason I have the luxury to join as a member for a chance of getting tickets is because I am a middle class teenager who can spend his part time wages on what he likes. How on earth are everyday working people supposed to raise the funds for some of these tickets? I don't even want to get on the topic of how this is correlates to a quieter atmosphere. Simply put how are the fans who are going to make noise going to get in? This is of course a nationwide problem in football maybe specific to the premier league and the worst part of it is these clubs could let people in for free if they really wanted to. I'd be happy to make the journey down and pay a reasonable price but £26 for an online membership, season tickets at the price of some cars (admittedly the Jose Enrique's of cars) and the clubs have the audacity to talk about price freezes. I don't see this stopping and without doubt it is alienating a group of supporters that simply don't have to be alienated.

well i think the new rebuilt stand just inflated the price. it doesn't add too much volume an anfield but costs must have been involved in building and the club is wrongly looking to fans to bear some the costs involved. they are expecting most of the games tickets to be sold to foreign fans who would pay whatever is asked to get to anfield and have a lifetime experience of watching a game live, because they are not going to do it week in week out.
Generally prices of all fun to do things in this day and age are just bonkers! Entertainment is getting costlier by the day.

Football prices are beyond ridiculous nowadays it is preventing people from going to games. Obviously you can get around that through the TV and other media outlets but it's not the same as seeing a team in person. Think the clubs should be ashamed with the prices there is absolutely no need for them to be as high as they are.
