News coming out of the Anfield canteen that Daniel Sturridge has dislocated his shoulder eating his Xmas dinner. Sly spurts just broke the story aswell. Yellow banner on the bottom of the screen and everything. Apparently it's both shoulders!

Apparently, he's leaning on a bar in the shippers mate dock bar, necking back treble whiskeys and ice, wearing a dodgy Christmas jumper, chords and brown loafers singing mistletoe and wine.
According to slimy Dave (the dodgy cock-eyed proprietor and a good mate), he's refusing to leave as he's got no physical means of exiting as his legs have failed to perform even the most fundamental physical action of 'walking'.
Christmas spirit on a different level, but rather selfish by not turning up to his own do.

Just wanted to wish all a merry Xmas not been posting so much of late but big thanks as always to Ed 01 and 02 for the time and depth they spent answering my questions when the transfer window was open. Not sure I see much difference between this season and the last in terms of quality. I don't see the loss of Gerrard has affected us much except that Can has had more chance in midfield. He was one of the greatest Liverpool players ever but last years Stevie G wouldn't add anything to the current team.

I'm a big fan of Can and long term I think he'll prove to be world class but as it stands we haven't replaced Gerrard for the here and now.

I think Klopp means when Gerrard was the player we all remember. He can't honestly mean the last year we had him because he was awful.

He is an absolute legend but he wasn't the player he use to be anymore, as ed says let him be.
Klopp seems to be doing a lot of foot in mouth lately though. Just a pop at the current team saying were missing gerrard, having him back in training leading the group? What's that all about.
And then he is trying to get his excuses ready by claiming the winter break wrecks all are chances in major tornanents etc. What I dint get about any of that is 10 years ago for a 5/6 year period we had an English team in every semi and united, arsenal, liverpol and Chelsea in the finals. Yet we didn't have a winter break then?
Klopp needs to focus on this team and get to the words were Liverpool and were going to try to win every game, as simple as that. Whatever the result don't bang on about missing gwrrads or winter breaks. Sorry for the rant on Christmas day.

Klopp's comments Paulo, he's been saying that he doesn't support the lack of winter break in the PL since he got here so those aren't excuses, they are opinions which aren't news to those who have been paying attention. You may have a pro with what he's saying but that doesn't mean they are excuses. Since, Klopp got here, not once has he blamed anyone else for our being poor so your idea of him getting his excuses in already is quite dishonest, frankly.
