The end game came when he stated very publicly he had no interest in joining Liverpool. So he will be going to Chelsea as Brighton have moved their deadline for bids from midnight Thursday, to 1430 yesterday to some time today. Waiting for Chelsea to pay what they want.

Romano is pushing the narrative that he has turned down LFC, if that was the case our offer would not be still on the table.
The player wants to keep his word with Chelsea as he has agreed a deal with them, but it is down to Chelsea to match or better the agreement, LFC has made with Brighton.
Chelsea should stop acting like Liverpool normally do and pay what Brighton want.

I hope so as I want to go into the season playing games without all this fan fare around the club . Just want to play football and go about our business under the radar let all the talk be about city Arsenal and Chelsea and we just plodd on quietly ??

Caicedo accepted to come to us and then, flipped and rejected us. That’s on him. If Chelsea want him, they should outbid us, end of story. We move onto the first game of the season while Caicedo becomes Chelsea’s and Brighton’s problem.
