Surely that’s saved up some funds to get the Cornet transfer over the line, 6Times? ;)

Firpo is a very versatile player, so he can cover the wings and CB as well. However, as others have stated, I’d prefer it if the younger lads got an opportunity.

I rate Hudson-Odoi, but if he’s going to move, it’s likely going to be outside of England. Personally, I’d be very surprise but wouldn’t turn my nose down if he joined us; he’s nice, direct winger.

Posivibes, lads. City haven’t been lighting the league on fire, either.

100% the goal should have been disallowed, but City should have had a penalty earlier in the game. I don't mind VAR, but I dislike how there doesn't seem to be a consistent standard with its usage.

I love the way he approaches the game. A match of grit, intelligence, perception of play and, of course, a dollop of Brazilian swagger.

In re: to Pepe, 72M would have been far too much for a rotational player as well.

Good read, Ed. It’s interesting to imagine if the both of them could have worked in the same team, or whether their styles of play would frustratingly clash.

I think you’ve mentioned it before, but who is the best-ever player in your opinion?

Viceroy

{Ed001's Note - I think they would have been incredible together in the same team.

Best ever I have seen is Maradona. He did it on cabbage patches with defenders trying to deliberately end his career. No modern player has to worry about controlling the ball on a dodgy pitch and you can tell as their technique is nowhere near as good as the players in the past. They are much fitter and stronger now but they do not have the same quality in their first touch.}
