Very surprised about the Dominic signing, the Hungarian player. It makes sense in a way but I'm thinking a few of the younger players aren't fancied by klopp then. Maybe it will push the likes of elliot to regain his form and confidence before the injury. Carvalho we won't see now but yeah he's a very gifted player we're after. Maybe it's also looking at replacing salah on the right.
I'll be pleased if we sign him but very surprised. I don't believe there's funds for a top cb unless someone sold. I would certainly let jota go if decent money came in for him.

Not too familiar with him but looks like He plays in multiple positions but primarily in CM, but could offer an option on right when Salah isn’t there.
Judging by those who have seen him he’s a step up from what we have.
Not so much a case of Klopp not fancying any of the youngsters currently at the club but most would say that Szoboszlai and Thuram (if we get both) are better than we have and not many would want to start season relying too much Jones, Elliott and Carvalho…imagine the outcry.

I don’t think it does stunt opportunities for Jones and Elliott, they’re both good talents but not yet at the level and the more senior players are below par so it is necessary to make these signings to remain competitive. With europa league, 5 subs and cup competitions, I think both elliott and Jones will get plenty of opportunities, same for bajcetic, it is clear to see they all have talent, but to quote Hansen you cannot win with kids!

I’d love to see Elliot have a go as the left sided midfielder this season.

Him as the right midfielder is great when he’s near the edge of the box and he can cut in for a shot but when he gets near the box Salah is already in that space looking to do the same.

I’ve noticed a few times last season when we broke at speed Harvey in the middle third has looked to cut back to onto his left foot where lots of players are rather than attacking the space in front of to the right.

I think he’s a very good player though and has a good future as a pro.
