Ed001 what's your opinion mate on Klopp not being in a midfielder this window? It's easy to say target wasn't available but Mckennie was of interest snd he is off to Leeds. Amrabat was available but 002 explained we left it to late. Seems Klopps spent our lot on Gakpo.

{Ed001's Note - everyone said those two were not good enough, so what does it matter if they went elsewhere? Amrabat would have been a terrible signing, all it would have done is ensured Bajcetic never made it. It is time for patience, we need rid of players first and that has not happened yet.}

120% agree Ed. I think it's the champions league thing that has fans panicking. Like there's no way back if we miss out. In fact buying players that barely improve us if at all and prevent us from going after our top targets in future will be far worse to our future prospects.

You can still buy top players when not in top four. Some will say no but many will not turn down a chance to go to a huge club like Liverpool with klopp in charge.

It's not so much Champions league I'm worried about but money available. I really hope it's there in the summer to do what is needed.

I would have to agree. It’s easy to pick any midfielder and it Might improve the team for a short term but I’m hoping the club are waiting for the “ right” player for the long term. We just have to hope that the team can find some form and keep us in the CL. I’m certain the club will sign 2 midfielders this Summer when Keita and Ox go.

It really is a sad life when the only thing that a human being has to look forward to is the next problem.

Spot on, Ed? . If the ones we are looking at are deemed to be terrible and not good enuff at all then, might as well give the spot to one of ours who they thing is ACTUALLY good enuff. Makes sense.

@West Derby Wanderer, I fully agree. I don't know how some people say they enjoy supporting our club yet act this way and are all miserable doing it. Of all the highs this club and team has manager has given us, they will always dwell on what they could NOT give us a chew on that. IMO, That type of bitterness is what is preventing them from actually enjoying all our success that other clubs and their fans crave. If people want to wallow in their own self pity on purpose then, what can you do?
