I don’t understand the clamour for this. Even if he does have the attributes to play there, he is top 3 RBs in the world so the likelihood is we weaken ourselves by moving him. He doesn’t play mf when all of Fab, Thiago and Hendo are fit.

He’s fantastic where he is, leave him there.

Play him in midfield and leave ourselves having to find the next best right back in the world (there isn’t one) for an insane amount of money (which we could just spend on a different position) all to fix a problem that doesn’t even exist.

Our full backs are more important and creative than our midfielders, so it might weaken us.
Trent and Robbo are almost attacking midfielders anyway.
