So as the dust settles on number 19, still can't believe it thought there a few special mentions.

First the Ed's this site is brilliant for discussion and banter between fans, there seems a real community here that can't be replicated but the amount of time you put in is hugely appreciated.

I feel the usual suspects get the plaudits, virg, bobby mane salah etc but still feel robbo is hugely important he opens the game up for us and seems hugely important to team morale too. Finding a back up will be massive but finding someone as good or better then robbo will be a huge task!

Finally klopp, he raised eyebrows early on in particular his celebration after WBAs game but but he is a revelation for us. He gets the club and has brought us the holy grail for many. I have no idea how long he intends to stay but we just need to enjoy it I believe he is a generational talent and comes across incredibly humble.

{Ed001's Note - I have never understood the issue about the Baggies game. He never celebrated, he took the players over to thank the fans for their support. It is something that more teams should do.}

I do really think that Klopp has managed to foster and enhance or return that old connection between the club and supporters.
It *feels* like the club we loved when Bill Shankly and Bob Paisley were in charge.
And it’s all the more remarkable considering the discourse that existed at the end of Brendan Rodgers’ reign.
Fantastic.

Spot on, Ed. Clubs around Europe especially in the Bundesliga (been watching the German league since 1991) do this all the time after a win or a last gasp draw like we had vs WBA.

IMO, It is a decent slice of the English football media, fans and pundits, many of who know very little about anything else outside the EPL, that constantly show their ignorance each time they say Klopp was "celebrating a draw" vs WBA.

The reasonn for thanking the fams was that a week or so prior we were losing and fans left the game early. Klopp said he felt alone and wanyed the fans to stay tondo thag. The fans stayed and supported for the west brom game ans we got a late equaliser so he went over to thank the fans for listening. Ibe seem a lot of joking about it on Social media but it can be toxic and rival fams will twist anything to take the piss.
