Couldn't sleep so ended up watching the second half of Brazil v Argentina.

Brazil have just won 2-0 with bobby scoring one and getting an assist for the other.
This puts him as the joint top scorer in the tournament and he is also tied for most assists.

Allison kept another clean sheet which means he has now won the golden glove even if he concedes in the final.

He is the first player to hold the golden glove for 3 major tournaments at the same time (prem, champs league and copa) .

Success breeds success so hopefully the boys win the final on Sunday.

And the best part is Brazil are achieving all this without the overrated Neymar ????.

Good. I know its a bit out of order but i can't stand the guy. I don't understand these teams who are run by their so called best player. Neymar picks the team. In the world cup he wanted jesus to start over bobby. Didn't score a single goal. Firmino was brought on a few times and scored goals, was involved in their ticky tacky football that created chances.

Messi is the same at Barcelona and Argentina. Why bother with a manager? Its ridiculous.

Id love two of our best players to come back with ANOTHER massive medal. Confidence through the roof.

Its amazing the way klopp improves players. Even Becker! A goalie. He is a better keeper than he was this time last year. We're going to win the league, i can feel it in my bones.

Bit early for all that we haven't even kicked a ball yet, take each day as it comes let's not create pressure before the league has even started, teams are spending big amounts too compete if they get it right any of top 6 could do damage.

Of course there's speculation about next season irish. Its only a few weeks away now. And having won the European Cup we should be looking at winning the league again. Klopp is fantastic, i love watching our football. Its so exciting. We have the quality and heart to beat any team, any time.

I did there'd be a big signing or two. Liverpool do sign players on deadline day - Aoc. But on the other hand, why tinker with such a brilliant team?

Yeah yeah ed025. But THIS time its different. We genuinely have a team capable of winning the league. 97 points. That is pretty amazing. Unbelievable that it wasn't enough to win the league though. Fair play to city, they done us at the etihad and that was the difference. And pep knew it, that's why they were so defensive at anfield. He knew it would go to the wire.

Hope you're well ed025, have the blues made any big signings? Secured gomes, who's the holding player in your team? I like siggurdson, was a good signing for you lot, i thought he would be a Barcelona target or a Man Utd target, still to see the best of him but he doesn't seem to be improving.

{Ed025's Note - no big signings for us yet robbie but we will be dabbling in the market thats for sure mate, just one thing...city were miles the better team at anfield mate and could and should have won by a wide margin..
