Ed, do you know why souness sold Beardsley? That one always puzzled me.

Also what’s your view on low getting rid of 3 players completely? I certainly think muller has a lot to offer still. Or is it more than are big personalities that’s have been disruptive in the squad.

{Ed001's Note - Souness wanted a clear out of all the big names to make a fresh start. Staunton was another one he sold too soon. Even Souness admitted he got it all wrong.

Low was obviously making a statement of some kind. Those 3 must have been a problem in the summer or the decision to announce they are out was just cruel and unnecessary.}

Why has lowe done that, especially to muller? Isn’t he normally the kind of guy you want a big tournaments? Or has he done something I am unaware of?

cheers for the response ed, I'm not alone in thinking that those sales made no sense.

i also suspected the germans must have been part of some disruption or else why would you say they are out for good.
