I have to say I am really gutted we won't be seeing Brewster this season, he was on schedule but he must have had a setback. He has a lot of potential but I worry he may not recover the confidence after this long layoff and setback.

With Sturridge seemingly seeing out time and origi being a big drop off to fill in for the front 3, Breester.

Sorry premature button hitting, I was going on to say, Brewster could have a similar impact as TAA had when he came in for Clyne. Imo he has as much talent as Jayden Sanchez.

I think they mean Jadon Sancho. You know the young ex Manchester City youth making his way in the Bundesliga with Borussia Dortmund and making waves doing so.

I would take whatever most managers say with a pinch of salt when it comes to injuries. I think if we needed him due to injuries/ form with Sturridge/ Origi then we could see him pop on to the bench. At the moment I think they will just be looking to get him as fit as possible without having the pressure of being in the squad.

If there's one think brewster isn't lacking its confidence. He said a while back obviously before his setback that he will have 85 rated shooting on the next fifa game after he got back and tore up the Premier league 🙄 let's hope he's the player he was when he comes back and let's hope he can translate it into adult football where so far he's achieved absolutely nothing.

I don't think the plan ever was to see Brewster this season as there are to many players in his way.
However with the expected exodus in the summer as long as Brewster is back in time for Pre season I expect to see Klopp give him his chance over the summer and in a supporting role in 19/ 20.

Spot on, 23carragold. Brewster was not really going to be playing this season and neither was Ox cos the club already announced that they would be due back next season. Ox may have a chance BUT not Brewster. I don't see where the OP thinks he would have been as good as TAA was when he joined the first team, really. TAA was already getting it done with the second team Klopp put out in the EFL cup in 16/ 17, something Brewster would have needed to do as well this season. Regarding whether he can recover from his injury fully, we will have to see how he deals with the situation mentally as that is the most difficult part of the recovery process esp. from an injury as serious as this one. Same goes for Ox. We shall see.
