Hey Ed001 I don't suppose you're still going through the best players in each position? enjoyed your first few articles and would love to get your take on the midfield. Though I have no idea how you'd manage the fullbacks, are their even ten outstanding fullbacks?

{Ed001's Note - yes mate and I did do the defensive positions a long time ago. I am just doing them gradually so that it is not just the same 10 when I get back to the goalkeepers and so on. I did do midfield positions a while back. Should be able to find them in the search on the football-news-views site.}

Hey Ed01, trust you are well mate. I had a look on the legends list and couldn't see Peter Beardsley on the list, any chance you could do a review of him please? Absolutely loved him as player.

Cheers ed001, don't know how I missed this the first time round. Will give the podcast attached a listen when I get the chance.

Some very good predictions with young players who have come into their own. Kessie has been one of Milan's few highlights this year, Milinkovic-Savic may not have started the season as well as last year but he's still great and Saul is my pick of the bunch.

Lemina is the only one who's progress seems to have stalled, if anything he may have regressed. Won't be helped with Hughes at the helm. Surprised no one has come in for Højbjerg though, two years younger and a real talent.

{Ed001's Note - cheers mate. I absolutely love Saul as a player, have done since I saw him in youth football, don't know why but he just had that something that made him stand out.

Lemina moving to Saints has not worked out all that well for him, he doesn't seem to know what he is being asked to do. What he is doing is not making the most of his talents either. It is stifling him in fact.

As for Hojbjerg, I like the look of him, I do wonder how long they will be able to hold onto him.}

Ed, known Lemina since his OM days and he is quite the footballer. When I saw him move to Juve is when I knew he was top notch cos they don't sign dross up there in Turin and tho he did not play a lot, he flashed quite a bit whenever I saw him play. I agree with you that he is being stifled out there at Saints cos he is way better than that. As for Hojbjerg, not sure about him tho even tho, he is a tidy footballer.

{Ed001's Note - take a good look at Hojbjerg when you get a chance mate, he is very good. Had a tough spell last season, but has come through it now and is really growing as a player.}

Ed, I will keep an eye out for him moving forward. After all, anyone who made it out of the Bayern academy to become a first teamer, is no slouch.
