Can I ask a question to the fans on this site. I am having discussions with friends regarding the ownership of the Club. I fully back FSG and believe we are in good hands but my friends think they are bleeding us of money and never use their own money to help us. By clicking the up or down thumbs I'd be interested if you like it dislike our ownership. What are the Ed's opinions?
Thanks in advance.

{Ed001's Note - they have loaned the club large sums from their other companies. I am sure it is with the long term intention of making a profit in the future, but they are club of rich, successful blokes who love sports and want to win first and foremost.}

Hersey lfc, tell your friends look st what they have done. I commented earlier on a post by FranklyMrShankly stating post of the day, it’s on the rumours page. It was followed by another good post about the redevelopment of Kirkby academy.

If buying the worlds most expensive defender and the worlds most expensive keeper within 6 months is bleeding the club dry I would love to see them dig deep and spend a bit of cash 🙈.

Hersey, three pieces of advice (if I can be so presumptuous) .
1. Take Ed01’s reply to heart, he is spot on;
2. Read ‘Epic Swindle : 44 months with a pair of cowboys’ by Brian Reade - it sets out how close LFC came to going into administration under the ownership of Hicks and Gillett, and how FSG rescued the club; and
3. Get yourself some new friends.

Cheers Stu. The only thing I feel sad about is the Ox. Have genuinely grown to appreciate him as a footballer and admire his personal qualities as he’s a genuinely top bloke with his feet firmly on the ground. Really hope that he’s able to play some part this season and recover fully.

FSG haven't been perfect, they're strategy at the beginning maybe wasn't the best. But they've learnt lessons from that and adapted. They really want this club to be successful and for that I will say thanks because a few years ago I really didn't think we'd ever get to a good level again.

Ed01/ MK would you be able to do a profile on the owners?

{Ed001's Note - I have added it to my to do list, but it will take a while.}

Thanks Ed, look forward to that it will be really interesting. Could you possibly include your thoughts on what the owners have planned. Ie sell or continue to reinvest. Thanks in advance Ex. Stu.

{Ed001's Note - ok mate.}
