Don't get the hysteria surrounding fekir. Lyon have always maintained since day 1 that they want to sell only after world cup.
Liverpool wanted it done before world cup. Hence the medical and all.
If he performs at the world cup Lyon might have asked for more money to the deal. And Liverpool have not come to an agreement on that.
Selling club has the upper hand and Liverpool will see how things stand after the world cup.

I am all in for buying a player after the world cup. If he wins France the world cup we surely have a superstar albeit a for bit more $$. But the money Lyon want to sell for is not Liverpool's call.

Agree ak, don’t see why everyone is losing their sh! t, he’s a very very good player but our midfield already has Fabinho and Keita arriving and our front three is awesome. We won’t die if Lyon refuses to sell, and there are also plenty of other very good players out there who I’m sure Liverpool will be looking at as a plan B.

Let the process follow its course, and if we manage to get him then fantastic, but if not such is life. We can’t always control every eventuality in a complex world and our club has shown themselves increasingly good at this business so let’s trust their judgement shall we?

Why so many people feel the need to spew abuse at various parties from medical team, to FSG, to Aulas, to our negotiation team, to Fekir himself is just ridiculous.

I don’t think Lyon is refusing to sell. We conducted a medical and shoot an interview which means Lyon is fine with it! We need to agree a price with them or come into a terms that suits Lyon. The issue is we cannot piss of clubs by budging at the last moment. That will cause disrupt and unwanted ego between clubs which will have consequences in future. Our reputation has been notorious in the past.
I hope we get him! We owe Fekir after he gave an interview on how great he feels to be at Liverpool. He is a very good player ( keep that in mind ) .

These hourly its on its off updates is turning our supporter base into a dead set joke right now. It gets worse every year. Keita last year was another circus, this year its beyond a joke.
