Agreed. As a unit, this is the best liverpool side we have had since 08/ 09, with the potential to be even better. The more time passes, the more it becomes clear how weak we were under rodgers without suarez. Klopp has taken over a complete mess and got our team playing genuinly amazing football, the likes of which we haven't seen since roy evans. The tide is turning, top players are wanting to join us at anfield now. Karius confirmed as number 1 for the rest of the season, van dijk coming into the team, i can't wait to see how the rest of the season develops.

Yes I can’t belive it, just beat city, finally bought a centre back, mignolet won’t be in goals and joint second. I’d ask someone to pinch me but I’d be scared I’ll actually wake up and Roy hodgson is my manager again.

I think it will be more noticeable with Phil going against the teams that sit back and put everyone behind the ball. phil was a genius at finding the space were there wasn't any. today city pushed forward so there was space for us to play in. any team would miss the player of Phil's quality. today was the perfect first game without him.
