And now for something completely different as Monthy Phython would say. When is a good age to start taking the little red's to their first game?

Just took my lad to his first game against Leicester. He’s 8 and loved it. Got a bit upset at half time because we were losing but all good in the end! Though he is going to have to choose a new favourite player now.

Cheers.

Took the lad when he was 4yrs and he loved it. Still talks about it now a year on and won't go anywhere without his Liverpool shirt on. Also just great to spend some one to one time with the wee fella. Priceless.

Took his sister when she was 7yrs. Loved it too despite the 0-0 result. Maybe understood a bit too much of the language compared to her brother though!

I reckon it depends if you’re local. If you are, anytime. I’m from darn sarth so got to wait until my boys ready for an overnighter!

Thanks Red Flag. The wee one is 7 in March but the wee man is only 3 in February.

I'm from darn sarf too Zeddicus. Was a good day out to drive up, park in the stadium see the match and then he crashed out on the drive on the way home. Needed a beer by the end of the night though but doable without an overnighter!

I reckon the kids'll love it Barry - maybe the 7yr old more than the littl'un though. Teach them a few of the songs on the way there - makes the difference! Although they're still not quite sure how hard Steve Gerrard actually kicks the ball!

{Ed002's Note - There is no interest from Liverpool Darn Sarf although Spurs have had scouts watch him regularly.}

Good shout, red flag. I'm tempted to find a station en route as I hate driving in town! Need to check the Trainline but something like a parkway station, outside of town and direct train into line street.
