Hey eds and Reds, trying to get a neutral opinion on the VVD transfer so if either ed002 or maybe ed025 could give us an opinion of the official VVD transfer? I understand the fee might be inflated but I don't really want to go into figures about it just more about the player himself. Do you think he is a good fit for lfc and will he improve us as a team?

Could a defensive coach have improved Lovren et al?

Hopefully the set pieces debacle may now be reduced,

Also I hope the lads injury issues are a thing of the past,

Is a defensive coach something that is being considered ed002? I agree I think vvd could become a real great player for lfc but am concerned that under klopp the type of football we are seeing and at times amazing as it is then we won't see a great lfc defensive team. Hope I'm wrong because sometimes watching us break on teams and how we go about attacking them is breathtaking just hope vvd can help us be more solid and help us win trophies.

Do the other top 6 have defensive coaches, like city last year they were all over the place an this season got it right, Chelsea last year started iffy then went too 3 at back an won league, have they got defence coaches influencing what goes on pitch.

See Gary Neville havin a go at money we spent on vvd, bottom line if u a top six club after top players u have too spend big, he only has too look at man utd, nearly hundred each for pogba an lukaku, lindelof 38 million Shaw 35 million, martial 75 million, think Neville should b moaning about utd, sour grapes sounds like cos he knows if vvd is on form there isn't many better.

The same Neville who after the Arsenal game slated Lfc for not spending big money on defence! Our back 5 in that game pretty much cost the same as Lindalof or mangala both of whom who are subs at our rivals. The fee is higher than I had hoped but as everyone has said our defence has needed money spent on it for some time, hopefully a top gk arrives also. As compared with our rivals whos gk saves them a lot of points over a season. Mignolet just doesn't and cost us points.
