Sorry if it has been suggested already but could you do one of your articles on Robert Prosinecki.
Didnt actually realise he played for the two Spanish giants in la liga.
Also Jocelyn Angloma who was always one of my fave defenders from the great Marseille European Cup winning side,
Hopefully you can if not thank you as always as I know your busy doing other stuff.

{Ed001's Note - Prosinecki was already in there but I have added Angloma. Prosinecki will be interesting to do, I remember a number of players who played with him when he came to England being shocked that he would disappear to the toilets just before kick off and at half-time for a crafty ciggy!}

I heard that in spain he never made it because his off the field habits held him back, not sure if this is true or not, that and the constant injuries he picked up.

Prosinecki had his off the field issues and smoking was one of them. However, that did not stop him from having a pretty brilliant club and country career having turned out for both Real Madrid and Barcelona while being part of the Yugoslavia U-20 team that won the WC in 1987 with the likes of fellow Croatians like Boban (capt), Suker, Jarni and Stimac. I don't know if he could have been better than he was BUT for what he did do, he was absolutely brilliant and like his Croatian team mates like Suker, Asanovic, Stanic and Boban, made football seem effortless.

Crafty ciggy, me being cricket follower had read Neil Fairbrother going to take a dump before every match and before his batting number lot of times English management had to search him franatically where he was and usually found taking the dump.
