Was watching King Kenny talking about nearly signing Roy Keane back in the 90's last night.
He mentioned how he spoke with Keane and all was agreed but Kenny rang Nottingham Forrest's manager Frank Clarke to update him and was told by Clarke in no uncertain terms that no fee was in fact agreed, I had to laugh at Kenny. He's a legend, it wasn't his fault, he was told fees were agreed and so Kenny apologised to Clarke on the phone there and then, but to be fair to Forrest and Clarke they didn't report the issue, they just sold him to the rivals instead lol. Sounds slightly similar to something I heard recently 😆.

Been a culture of incompetance in the recruitment of players for years the club needs to appoint someone from outside to sort things out edwards as new sporting director is not the answer.

What a player and what a man.

Forget all the Utd stuff, Roy Keane was an outstanding player and Captain.

I love listening to him and could do so all day.

A scouser with an Irish accent who unfortunately went to the wrong club in my opinion, and how much he gave Utd was only matched by a Gerrard or Souness.

Could do with that type of player now.
