So how do you think we are doing against our rivals for league / top 4? Chelsea could struggle a little if Morato does not gel but I think he is quality and will do well in the EPL Chelsea should be top 3 at worst. Spurs have yet to buy and with the move away from WHL and CL football could struggle to maintain top 4 - their defense is what makes them top 3 any injuries to Kane, Ali or a CB will hurt them massively as I do not see enough coverage in their squad. Man City have spent big on defense - like LFC attacking is not an issue and I do not see them as title contenders but definitely top 4, how shaky their defense is will define their season. Man U have spent BIG again, not sure about this Swedish CB but De Gea staying is a massive boast. Going forward they have very good options - they still do not look like a team but a bunch of individuals who they would hope perform on different games and not the same. Top 4 is where I see them. Arsenal could be in real trouble with Ox, Sanchez and Ozil all doubts I do not see them as top 6 and the Europa league is an awful comp to be in. Therefore I see Top 3 contenders as Chelsea, Man U and Man City and LFC with Spurs and Arsenal dropping out of this group - your thoughts?

I had a similar conversation with myself the other day and concluded that Spurs along with Arsenal will be two clubs missing out on top 4.

Spurs?

Write them off at your peril!

not to sure about arsenal if they keep Sanchez think they will have a good season. Spurs I think will really struggle playing at Wembley, big pitch for the way they play week in week out and for every small club going there for players that don't get to play there its like a cup final. SO it is not like a home game and don't think they have the best of away form.

I think it will be Man utd, man city and chelsea for the title fight with spurs and arsenal fighting for top 4 and liverpool and everton maybe pushing them for top 4 aswell but more likely fighting for 6th place finish. It is time to be realistic we are falling behind in terms of quality and when coutinho leaves it will have a negative effect on us. Spurs are good enough to challenge for the title its just the wembley home matches that may hinder them this year.

we have added 3 players utd about the same not sure if them players are that good that they now have a better team than us. still think utd will struggle to break teams down.

I completely agree with u Carlos,
I tip Chelsea and Man City to go all the way

Man City has the strongest squad in the league at the moment, their biggest problem was their defense last
Season and how they wasted time and possession in the final thirds of the pitch. They have addressed that and are still in the process of addressing it. They will challenge for the title

Chelsea was near perfect last season. They are ruthless against the smaller teams
Their biggest problem would be the squad depth especially now that they plan to sell Matic and are in the champions league . they will challenge for the tittle

ManU . Their attack was weak last season but it was almost impossible to outscore them. They have gone further to strengthen. Their biggest challenge was 'no definite game plan'. Top4 is very possible

Liverpool. LfC biggest challenge was squad depth and concentration. The club was doing perfectly till Jan when it lost its key players. They have made some key additions but selling their most creative force, Coutinho would be their biggest undoing.
I don't see them challenging for the crown like this, more signings required. Top4 still very possible

Arsenal. No opinion

Tottenham . Finished the season on extreme high. Not surprised by their silence in the market . Top4 possible.
