Read somewhere, Three clubs have spend more than a billion since the new PL format and only one club has failed to win w PL tirle. Chelsea, City and Liverpool

Where did we spend all those money?

Try looking at net spend if you're going to make such sweeping statements.

That being said, even that is a poor indicator of anything whatsoever.

Also bear in mind that our spend has been over 25 years vs city who has been over about 10 years and Chelsea 15.

Surely Utd have spent a billion also, last season alone they spent nearly £150k? A bit eye watering really even if net spend brings it down, we cannot say we haven't had the funds to invest in players, just goes to show on the main how badly we spent it! ☹️.

big difference between spending a billion over 25 years and spending a billion over 10 harry. some context would be nice. man utd are close to half a billion in 4 years! admittedly in many instances we haven't spent well - undeniable but those teams spent the same in half the time which would tend to lead to a quicker rate to success.
