Hi ed001 if you're about. I was wondering what way you would line up next season in relation to the wingers with both Salah and Mane being RW. Would you play Mane at LW and Salah RW? I believe he has previously been played there?

Thanks.

{Ed001's Note - players move about on the pitch, I would give both of them freedom to roam personally.}

2 players freedom to roam? surely that would disrupt the teams formation especially defensively. we would be slaughtered by the strong teams.

desk - We have always had a fluid system under klopp. It's what he wants.

We keep a formation when we haven't got the ball then as soon as we get it the front 3 especially are interchangeable.

By roam I think ed means interchange as clever players will instinctively cover another players position when said player changes position. i. e. The front 3 move across the pitch creating space yet if we loose the ball they defend the area they are nearest ultimately changing positions whilst retaining the team shape.

What's wrong with left footers playing left wing? Yes interchange and be fluid, but a decent left footed cross when teams park the bus is sometimes what's needed.
Don't tell me it's old fashioned, it's common sense.

Interchange every so often, pulling the opponents defence all over the shop, causing confusion which will create space for the strikers.

I just hope we can strengthen the defence or we will be found out very quick in Europe, concede a messy goal at home gu2ves the opponent a huge boost with the away goal rule.

Time to wise up and man up back there .

Burke in our and a lot of modern systems the responsibility of crossing seems to fall to the fullbacks on the overlap after wingers cut inside.
