So, if we believe reports, and Macca, who is always reliable source, (I don't think i've ever seen him be wrong) then we are on the verge of signing VVD and Salah, for me it would be a real signal of intent, especially getting VVD, who is choosing us over City and the current champions in Chelsea, it would be a real real coup for us. I really admire him as a player, he is a good all round CB, and someone we badly need. Is he overpriced? ofcourse, he will be the most expensive defender in history. But for me isn't too much for the money, this guy will instantly improve our defence, plus we need to give our annual fund to the Saints charity fund. He is desperate to be apart of this club and play for Klopp which is most important.

As for Salah, I was desperate to sign him when BR wanted him, it didn't work out for him with Chelsea, but he seems to have a point to prove, and the guy is still only 24, I thought he was at least 28, he seems to be around for years. He will improve our attack and give more options. Exciting times ahead for the club, with the investment made here this summer, could determine us for the next couple of seasons, we need to get it right this summer.

The more alarming thing is that Coutinho is the same age as Salah, only a few days between them! Keeping a hold of Coutinho will add to the potential success of this transfer window.

You haven't came here often if you've never seen him be wrong. He said we were about to be taken over 12 months ago, along with signing Walcott and Gotze. He has been wrong and he has been right. I'm a skeptic always have been always will be. A lot of his info seems to come just after there's a load of media reporting the same thing. Where was he a month ago mentioning our original targets?

Seriously though Jezza, we are lucky to have Macca. Ed001 knows who he is and he wouldn't entertain the guy if he was a fraud. Ed001 is cold as ice. I once watched him volley a Mallard by the river because it 'looked at him funny'.

Nah I'm not saying he's lying he's just been blatantly wrong before even tho he's been adamant he's right. I'm glad he posts. I'm glad the eds post even more so. Everyone speaks of his track record I've been on here since the days when he had his own page and I've not got a tally going but I'd say it's 60/ 40 to him for right and wrong by people like to gloss over his wrongs just because they wanna crawl up abit? I like his posts I put more credibility to his posts than all of the regulars apart from the eds but still he has been wrong plenty of times as well as right plenty of times.
