If they dump the Europa (an ill advised move but plenty do) then it doesn't count, no extra games for the key players.

this thing about it being easier to win the league without Champions League is what loser clubs say. look around the other major leagues and the best clubs in their league are competing in the champions league as well. Is it just England that has this issue?

Yes it is just England that has this issue. Because in England there are usually 5 or 6 teams that could win the title. Whereas in other leagues you would say 2 or 3 at the very very most.

The big teams in the other leagues can afford to rest players for their league games as the vast majority of the other teams will be very uncompetitive.

It's a cliche but in England there are no easy games.

Wenger should look closer to home at his own failings before taking a pop at others. His Arsenal career is ending with such a whimper and it's a shame. The guy brought a lot to English football.
