Hi all, really enjoying the season so far, so happy with everything the club is acheving. Just a though on sahko, please don't shoot as i don't much about the situation, without sounding naive could mamadou not have gone to the boss for an honest one to one and humbly apologised for messing up and worked his arse off to prove he wanted to make things up? Could this not have saved his career here or at least made it better for him for any future move? Or has he no interest in doing so?

{Ed002's Note - Klopp wants him gone - and that is pretty much it.}

It seems to be a character flaw, in a few of the player interviews I've seen when the interviewer asks "Who is always late? " the general response is Sakho. I am a big fan of Sakho, gutted we won't see him and Matip play together - could have been great. However if Klopp makes exceptions for basic things like time management for some players it weakens his position with the whole squad with regards to the fairness, and I think more significantly flies in the face of the spirit Klopp is trying to foster within the team.

These Men are supposedly professionals and if despite warnings you're still consistently late to team meetings it's showing a lack of respect for the coaching and playing staff.

First of all, I am a huge Sahko fan. Having said that, Klopp runs a very tight ship and no screw ups especially by repeat offenders, will nor should be tolerated. When you start tolerating misconduct due to a player`s talent and so on, that is a recipe for disaster in your quest to build as strong bond and structure of respect and accountability btw players and coaches.

He must really have messed up big.

As anyone can see from an ability point of view that the squad would be stronger with Sakho in it.

Has something else happened to have made a rapprochement possible?

The club financially is paying top wages to a top player who is playing in the reserves.
