Are there any solid Hendersons available in the transfer window to play when Henderson is injured?

Stewart was brilliant today. He made two tackles in particular which saved our blushes!

On another note, Gomez looked like a mini Matip. So composed, read everything before it became dangerous and passing from the back exquisite. Only saw him beaten once and he still recovered to make the block.

{Ed025's Note - i dont know which game you watched MK?, stewart was possibly one of the best of the kids you played but he was still awful. to label him "brilliant" is an exaggeration of epic proportions mate..

The game by passed the midfield today, it was our attacking players who let us down.
Had you been at anfield today you would realise that stewart actually played pretty well especially off the ball, and tried to offer an option going forward.
When we drew with sunderland, stewart was supposedly the man who would have won it for us. Can't have it both ways.
also to point out, Can played ok going forward and on numerous occasions did his upmost to push play on.
Today we came up against a team who had 11 men behind the ball, we didn't use the width that was available to us, and our wide men always looked to cut inside, became predictable and looked poor.
Very disappointed with Origi today, felt he should have bullied the plymouth defenders a lot more, rather than throwing himself to the floor instead of holding the ball up.
However we didn't lose, it's experience for a lot of younger players and they will have taken positives from that, especially from learning to play patiently against stubborn opposition. Very pleased the elads didn't lose concentration also, till the end they battled

I would have to agree with Ed25. Also Gomez had practically zilch to do all game. Shocker of a game with the only bonus being maybe the same team get another go in the replay.

I thought he controlled the game Ed. His passing was good, and positive. Then on the rare chance they had to break he stopped it before it became a threat. For me Stewart and Gomez were excellent. Hence why they barely got a sniff of our goal. The problem was with our forward players and wing backs. Moreno and Arnold kept putting the crosses either too close to the keeper or straight into the first man, Ejaria and Can were sloppy, and Origi, Woodburn and Ojo were wasteful.

When Sturridge came on he was unlucky not to score a couple, but Lallana and Firmino were equally sloppy as the teenagers were!

Lucas had a bad game though. He gave away the ball a few times and had some horrific attempts on goal.

Marius has nothing to do attempt wise but claimed a few crosses well. I really don't know how anyone can fault Stewart or Gomez though. They did everything you expect from defensive players without any mistakes.

{Ed025's Note - dont get me wrong MK stewart was not the worst player out there, but to label anyone brilliant in such a poor game is a travesty mate, its never easy putting that many youngsters out there and especially against a team parking the bus, i thought klopp played too many kids to be honest and having to go down there for a replay is far from ideal, but im still a huge klopp fan and im sure when he reads my comments he will adapt future team selection accordingly.. :)
