Absolutely heart wrenching. Hundreds of families torn apart in an instant. Only just read about it and it has ruined my day. Not just because it is a football team. But because 81 people have either lost their lives or had them changed forever. Heart goes out to all affected. I hope we hold a minutes silence tonight. Some of our best players in the last few years have hailed from Brazil. If not for simple humanity, we owe our support to them.

Corinthians have sent a formal request to the CBF asking for Chapecoense to be exempt from Serie A relegation for the next three seasons.

All Serie A clubs have agreed to the request, which also includes free loan signings for Chapecoense for the 2017 season.

Agreed RIP and best wishes to everyone involved. Incredible gesture from Nacional as Harry said and also from Corinthians who have requested they have a three year stint where they can't be relegated from Serie A.
