I have to hold my hands up and say i was wrong about klopps handling of sakho. Although i like what he does outside of the club i can see how him basically deciding he can do as he pleases can cause disharmony and be quite devisive.

Im not saying sakho should not have an opinion, but i would have more respect for him if he took it up with klopp in private instead of bleating to the world on social media.

He got off pretty lightly considering the debacle with the failed drugs test and most people would have been grateful to get off scott free and get their head down and work hard.

Its a shame but matip has shown he is not irreplaceable and that will be the last time he kicks a ball for lfc while klopp is in charge i fear. And frankly he can only have himself to blame.

Have you considered the possibility that he did take it up with Klopp, maybe several times, and was ignored completely? I don't know if that's true or not but it's worth considering. No manager is perfect and no-one handles every situation perfectly. It's very feasible that a situation has just gone out of control. Frankly I found the efforts to loan Sakho fairly pathetic anyway (if you don't want him then sell him but don't try and force him to go in limbo to Sunderland) and I am not surprised that Sakho had something to say after being frozen out of the U23's just after they had praised him for the application he was putting in.

Hard fact is that footballers tend not to be very bright and there is only so far you can push a below par intelligence individual before they do something stupid (push anyone far enough and they have a tendency to snap) . Whatever happens to Sakho after this will be his fault in the most part I think, but I hope Klopp also learns about dealing decisively with situations and not letting them drag and propagate as well.

{Ed001's Note - we wanted to sell him but the offers we received were not good enough, except for loans.}

It's a real shame, underneath it all seems a really decent guy and loves the club, but whoevers fault it is, no-one is bigger than the club and we can't afford any disharmony in the dressing room. I still hope he can get over this - others have gotten over worse - but if not I hope he goes on to a great club and has a brilliant career and looks back fondly on his time here.
