Eds, a couple of questions if I may. It see,s that Marsh has gone. There are rumours that others including Pascoe may go too. Do you have any insights into the facts and thinking behind this?

A question for the punters now: who would we like to see get the job(s)? Who could make a difference? Are there any names out there that would work under Brenda?

{Ed001's Note - it wasn't working out with Marsh and Achterberg, neither were picked by Rodgers.}

Thanks Ed. That really does throw some light on it.

Is it the case now that Rodgers can being in who he pleases? If we are going to persist with him we need to give him the freedom to build his coaching team.

The absolute worst case scenario is that he is half backed: stay in the job but we will decide who your coaches are. That is most likely to end badly for everybody.

{Ed001's Note - I don't know mate. I personally think the club either have to back him to get who he wants or sack him. Anything else is just leaving us in a mess.}

Sami to come back in a coaching role would be my choice.

Do you think this could turn out in anyway well keeping him in the job Ed001?

{Ed001's Note - the only way it has a chance of working out well is if they back him fully to get in his choice of staff.}

Prefer someone with coaching pedigree especially defensive coaching.
Love Sami but is he a good coach? Not convinced myself

Don't know about you Ed001, but I can't see Rodgers cutting his friend Pascoe loose, can you?

{Ed001's Note - nope, he would not be going due to Brendan.}

I thought Rodgers chose Marsh to step up from the youth set up.
Whatever , I suspect if Rogers chooses his own staff they will just be yes men. No one who could possibly take any glory away from Rodgers himself.

You mean Sami Hyppia the former Bayer Leverkusen and Brighton coach/manager? I would be surprised of he accepted the role as backroom staff for Rodgers.

Hi Ed1 if your about so we have sacked brendans assistant and the goal keeping coach i get the reason for the goal keeping coach as he's migs has been poor not all down to our keeping coach but he hasn't improved him any, but why are FSG sacking all the coaches around him and not rodgers? do they see them as the issue and not brendan?!

{Ed001's Note - they are not sacking all of the coaches, just selected ones are being let go.}

Ed001, Paul Joyce of the Express (I know. )posted
"Liverpool set to part company with assistant manager Colin Pascoe as further part of backroom shake up".

Rene Mulensteen is a possible candidate to replace him!

Have heard this or know any more about it?

I didn't think Colin Pascoes position would be up for debate as he is best pals with BR, so to speak.

{Ed001's Note - everyone's position is up for debate mate, everyone's. The coaching set up was not working so changes had to be made.}

Thanks for the reply Ed001. It'll be very interesting to see who actually replaces them. Should have been BR as well, but.
