Eds reds lots of talk about what players are comeing in summer window. Firstly money to spend, secondly who we can attract without champions league. If we have money to spend I would go for depay, benteke, jammat, martinez. The second choices would be Konoyplanka, ings, milner, alderweireld.for the amount of money the second choices would cost they may make just as much of an impact as the first list!

That 'first choice' list isn't realistic at all I hate to say except Jnmaat. Villa would demand £30m now Benteke has hit form, Depay would be ery difficult to get as other teams like Man Utd an PSG-who can offer Champions League football-are both interested. Janmaat is an unusal choice but I'm sure he is feasible. By Martinez do you mean Jackson Martinez or Javi Martinez? Either way, they are both excellent players but again they will have a ridiculous price put on them and they wouldn't come without CL football. Also Jackson Martinez is unproven in a top league which could be too much of a risk considering our transfer record over the years.
However, that 'second choice' list is very realistic! Kono is quality from what I've seen of him and I'd definitely take a punt on him. Ings is a proven goalscorer which is something we could do with at this time; he may have taken his foot off the boil slightly recently but I do not doubt his quality. Milner is a complete beast! An absolute bargain but would he fit in? I think he could so I'd snap him up. Alderweireld looks like a very good prospect for the future but is he ready for the first team? I doubt it and I wouldn't want to hinder his development in any shape or form. Each of these set of players in this second list are realistic and could fit in perfectly.

I'm reading mliner is done and mecca has just posted that and I think Ed 2 said we are very interested. We should have got koplyanka on a pre contract ings would be great for us Alderweild has looked good for Southampton I thought we should have gone for him before he went to athletico I really think the above wouldiimprove us greatly

Milner is not a bargain. He will have a huge sign on fee as well as decently high wages over the course of the contract. IMO, he is not what we we need but I will welcome and support him if and when he comes.
