Managers need to have charisma and unerring self belief. A manager who is plagued with doubt is no use to anyone.
I've no problem with Rodger's interviews. If you dissect them word for word looking for a reason to bash him then I think that's a bit sad and missing the point.

Completely agree with Ron Keague here. What's he supposed to say? "So and so is a better manager than me", "so and so should be manager here and I'll go back to West Ham". Come on, give the guy a break. I'm fed up of people bashing Brendan for any possible reason they can find. Has he not improved a large number of the players in the squad? Sure, the transfer record he possesses is not good, but personally I think we'll see next season how good players Lallana, Lovren, Can and Moreno are, and we arguably have already seen flashes.

I used to be his biggest fan, and I'm a bit disillusioned with him at present, but can we think about what he actually HAS done?

He HAS really done nothing other than spend 200 mil and we're no better than when he started. Another year next year of 5-8th in league, no trophies, more money wasted people will say give him time. He's had 3 years. In this day and age that is far more than most get. Cut our losses now.

He`s a failure, PLAIN & SIMPLE! Comparing him to Mou is the poorestalse argument. Mou can be obnoxious atimes but he wins and if you`re doing that, who cares what you say? And if BR is such a media darling, how come FSG has warned him on many occassions to keep his mouth in check or why is he considered a media minefield who thinks his opinion on even the dumbest of things need to be heard? Continue to apologize for his dreadful errors, wastefulness in the TW and ineptitude on the field as well as his inability to shut his gob as much as you like BUT it will change nothing about the facts as many of us and the Ed`s have seen or heard.
