Just a quick question not related to today's game, I rate Erikson from spurs as the best possible replacement for Gerrard do you agree?

We could have got him for 12 million during the 2013-2014 season but chose not to.

Erikson is now spurs best player by a mile, may have to pay 30-40 million now though

Do you understand football at all? The only thing he could replace gerrard on is free kicks! It'd be like saying we can replace gerrard with sterling coutinho. I thought lallana would play deeper as a midfielder and then he might be a good replacement but Rodgers plays him as a 10 or a winger. I thought if he played the same role as hendo he'd be the replacement

Erikson is an out and out attacking midfielder who always looks for a killer pass, excellent at free kicks and can score a goal or two from open play, sound familiar?

He's only 22yrs of age and will only get better with age, you watch when the likes of Barca and Real come knocking.

I understand he's a good young player but they don't play even close to the same position and we have plenty of number 10s
