Linked with pedro again

Like for like with Sterling there although he probably had more end product then sterling at this moment to be fair

27 Mar 2015 07:22:21
Who is verratti set to moved to Ed002 smashing little player

Also is Cabaye set to leave PSG would welcome both to lfc with open arms

{Ed002's Note - Nobody has any agreement with him yet.}

Lfc transfer rumours lately

Ings - free

Milner - free

Kidhera - free

W.Ried - free

I no we were linked with keepers from Italy Neto I think also free

Singing in fees and of course agent fees cost higher wages ect

I also no we won't sign all of these but there is a few gems out there at the moment

Dani Alves even could be there

1.) 03 Mar 2015 01:21:08
Ings is NOT free as he is subject to a development fee of around £5m if I'm not mistaken.

2.) 03 Mar 2015 10:15:04
I won't split hairs over £5m but Khedira's name really is easier to spell than many people think. ;)

I would like all of the above with 12 or 13 departures.
I'd prefer Mat Ryan over Neto & Marcell Jansen would make a fine Enrique replacement.
We don't need Dani Alves and he would want stupid money.

01 Feb 2015 20:42:54

It's only Sunday and people here are fearing the worse against hull

This is the season to put the smaller teams to bed and break this hoodoo.

1.) 18 Sep 2016 10:17:28
Looking at our performances last season in the EPL excluding wins under Klopp starting from his first match

Tottenham Hotspur - away D0-0
Southampton - home D1-1
Crystal Palace - home L1-2
Newcastle United - away L0-2
West Bromwich Albion - home D2-2
Watford - away L0-3
West Ham United - away L0-2
Manchester United - home L0-1
Leicester City - away L0-2
Sunderland - home D2-2
Southampton - away L2-3
Tottenham Hotspur - home D1-1
Newcastle United - home D2-2
Swansea City - away L1-3
Chelsea - home D1-1
West Bromwich Albion - away D1-1

Looking at the above, I do not see it as putting smaller teams to bed. Our aim should be to significantly improve our home form this season. Far too many points dropped at home last season. Make Anfield a fortress and keep the points ticking away from home and a place in the top four will be ours.

2.) 18 Sep 2016 12:24:16
Didnt realise home form was that bad Max, spot on.

3.) 19 Sep 2016 09:31:45
when you actually realise how many games we were leading from that list, and lost them or drew them. i think that was part to our fitness level. southampton game where we played best 45 minutes of football in long time, leading 2 0 at half time to lose it later, or sunderland game. hope those things don't happen again.

Gotta love this site I asked for people view on GW cause he slips under the radar with me so just wanted couple of opinions of what he has been bringing and if maybe can may be suited better in that roll although playing who we are play I doubt were carrying anyone

All I did was ask relax guys.

1.) 17 Sep 2016 11:48:19
What roll? The majority from last night's chat think he played well and is playing well.
I disagree and I do think he's a passenger.

2.) 17 Sep 2016 15:39:14
if you don't think Wijuldum had a good game last night you either a) have already passed judgement on him and not wanting to change your view or b) don't appreciate a player unless he makes some 'Hollywood' play.
He was good last night, and against Leicester. I was critical of the purchase but I'm beginning to change my tune on him.

3.) 17 Sep 2016 16:42:23
Wiji had a very good game last night and this is coming from someone who doesn't think he's needed.

16 Sep 2016 22:17:23
Matip looks tidy as hell on the ball bravo he was bad for the goal but other then that he was immense!

If anyone cares to highlight GW for me as a overall LFC player so far please do he seems the be out of sync at times.

1.) 16 Sep 2016 22:29:46
I thought GW was really good today. Tidy in possession looked good under pressure also carried the ball a lot to turn defence in to attack, ran all day. him and hendo were brilliant.

2.) 16 Sep 2016 22:33:37
Yes dezy, it's easy to forget he's playing st times.

3.) 16 Sep 2016 22:39:52
So we have just beaten one of our contenders for a top 4 finish. The boys played superbly for most of the game, we scored 2 fantastic goals and we dug in 2nd half to see out the game but still you find the need to complain about Gini. For me he had his best game for us tonight. He picked up players well, closed down brilliantly and intercepted numerous passes. He gives us more power and strength in the middle of the park. If you watched the game properly and looked out for these things then you might appreciate these small details that make such a big difference to a game. How many games has he played? 4? 5? he's has played better with each game. Give the guy a chance!

4.) 16 Sep 2016 22:42:08
Goni is a class player, keeps the ball moving.

5.) 16 Sep 2016 22:23:16
I thought GW was brilliant today. Very efficient and hard working. He's not as good on the eye as others but he's done his work well.

6.) 16 Sep 2016 22:58:07
Anyone who tells me Wijnaldum was not effective tonight knows zip about football. He was superb. One misplaced pass and he was all over the pitch. Pace, power, skill. He will only get better too. Great performance by the lads and lots to look forward to!

02 Sep 2016 13:33:39
If I learned anything this summer it is that 30 million isn't big money in the market and other teams are catch-up on LFC spending that type of money.

1.) 02 Sep 2016 13:48:38
You are right, Dezy. If a bang average player like Bolasie or Sissoko went for 30m then 30m these days, is the new 20m of five years ago, I`m afraid.

2.) 02 Sep 2016 14:01:05
The fees this year were outrageous. Makes the amount we paid for mane seem like a bargain.

3.) 02 Sep 2016 22:27:19
The transfer fees are getting beyond belief now. Bang average players having a few good games and all of a sudden it's 20 million plus players.

4.) 03 Sep 2016 08:40:29
Genuinely the most shocking transfer fee for me was Hendricks to burnley for over 10 mill. He is their record signing and a bang average player. I've seen a lot of him for Ireland and a bit at Derby. He is so slow mentally and I could count on a hand the amount of forward passes I've seen him make. I just feel bad for burnley on this one wasting foe them what would be a huge sum of money.

Predicting movement on a full back by Thursday.

1.) 16 Aug 2016 21:47:48
Doubt it mate. Its been said Milner will be used.

2.) 16 Aug 2016 23:21:18
Bowel movement maybe😀.

3.) 17 Aug 2016 06:41:19
Positive vibes is all we have ha ha.

4.) 17 Aug 2016 07:18:37

I think he is different then Moreno has good delivery and doesn't do crazy lunge tackles.

{Ed001's Note - but he doesn't work back to get in position to do crazy lunges most of the time when I have seen him.}

Bigger stadiums don't have less atmosphere look at Celtic park

Shocking team but the crowd makes then good enough to draw with city see what happens away from home.

Ings is the only striker who could match the Firmino up top in terms of work rate

Origi was quality when he came in last season looks to me he is a big confidence player (maybe due to age) dunno if he could match the two above for closing down

Sturrdige has the quality but not the bottle or work rate.

Ronaldinho was the master at skill and used it to gain advantage.

Who is GW like in your opinion Ed

Also do you think he is still lazy or has he impressed you enough.

{Ed001's Note - off the top of my head I can't think of anyone. Lazy? It is mental laziness that is his issue, he doesn't see what is happening around him to react to it. That is why he goes missing for large periods. He just carries on doing what he does, rather than being able to see that things have changed and react to it. So far you can see the coaching is making a difference to that, because he is being challenged to use his brain more. He has to be thinking on his feet to work with the other players around him. That challenge has so far looked to be improving him, as he is not going to sleep anything like as much. It is far too early to judge, but he does look a lot better so far. It needs to be maintained in the long term, not just for a few games though.}

Ironically we do well against the good and bad against the lower teams

If ya can't get up for those 4 there's something wrong but on the other hand Hull might be harder (shouldn't be but has in recent years)
