Hi Ed001,

If possible can you write a player profile for Torres, particularly during his time with us. Interested to know why he never able to replicate his form for us at other club.

He had injury problems when he left us, didn't he?
He was very good for us and had a beautiful way of running. It looked effortless.
I think he'd had enough of us towards the end of his Liverpool career though.

I remember Torres playing in a Europa League game for us and he was through on goal but was flagged offside. He just didn't look bothered and jogged to retrieve the ball for the opposition.
He looked like he didn't want to be there. We got a good price for him though and he did nothing at Chelsea (don't mention the goal in the Gerrard slip game) . And we bought Suarez in the window we sold Torres.
Torres was fabulous for us and strength to go with his pace. I was surprised at his power when he signed for us but Nemanja Vidic can vouch for how strong he was.

There was a point where Rafa was managing Chelsea and got Torres scoring again with special leg strengthening training. Rafa knew him best.

When did Torres score the winner in the CL final? For Chelsea versus Bayern, Drogba scored and scored the winning penalty, I think.
