Anyone see that the Premier League has newly appointed chief refereeing officer, Howard Webb!

Looks like ManU will be winning lots of dodgy decisions again.

Fortunately dodgy decisions won’t really save Man U any more as they barely play football worthy of the championship. Unless they are given 3 penalties a game there is nothing to worry about.

I am watching Ed14 they have been trash but expected first game back and all. I say these things more in hope than anything the last thing any of us need is them lot becoming any good again. Hope Burnley can grab a goal and make em sweat.

{Ed014's Note - it’s a pretty poor game all around mate and United playing much the same as their first games of the season.

I don’t really see any style, not much in the way of a press, just mostly breakaway football.

I genuinely wouldn’t have any of that squad aside maybe from Martinez as back up.

Oh dear I jinxed it. Looking forward to tomorrow’s game hope we are up for it and not a bit sleepy. If we can play well and get through I wouldn’t mind getting Man U in the quarters. Have a good Christmas Ed 14 and enjoy the football.

Man U beat us pretty easily, so I take no joy in them being rubbish. We have been worse so far, we are enough points behind them.

I take plenty of joy in United being rubbish. A winning streak will cut that points gap, I wouldn't be surprised at all if we catch them.

I agree. Utd have been poor for quite some time and we have been superior. But this season realistically we can’t really throw any shade at them as they are still ahead of us on points.

Hopefully in a few weeks time normal service will have resumed and we’ll be back ahead of them.

United are pretty dire to watch at times and so have we. The fact that they are ahead of us in any way just shows, how poor we have been thus far.

everyone seems to be forgetting that they absolutely battered us a few months back and everyone of their players id have rather had that day bar salah? . they are by some distance better than us this season. martinez has been world class.

Nathlfc if a 2-1 win was an absolute battering then what would you call a 5-0 win at OT last season as well as the 4-0 win in the reverse fixture? Just asking for a friend.
