Interesting game today.

With our high line haaland will cause problems against us when the city players are used to spotting his runs. They had a few chances first half to release him and played the wrong pass.

What was clear is that Liverpool are the much fitter team at this stage. They have to take advantage of that over the first few weeks. Whilst City are still getting used to it (and Haaland will have a much different task against set block defences) and building fitness Liverpool need to take advantage.

I really love the look of this Liverpool squad though.

It’s not just the quality of player it’s like Liverpool fans forget just how immense Klopp is as a manager.

Haaland looks like he struggled against better defenders. Only really had one clear opportunity and that one is now passing the international space station.

Haaland had 8 touches in the first half so it looks like he missed it too.

Yeah, Ed25. The guy had a mighty 3 touches in the first 35 minutes. I clearly missed the fact that he was on the pitch in that first half, lol.
