Eds - I wonder what part do clubs take in reigning in social media posts from their players?
Without politicising this forum, a tweet went out today from Mane that I (and others) will strongly disagree with nad find upsetting.
Is it a free reign or monitored in some way?
Once more, not looking to start a debate here (likely to be quite boring) rather curious how these thing work.

Thanks!

{Ed002's Note - Typically the clubs have all players briefed about their responsibilities at the start of the season and will remind them if issues arise - that should be enough. Mane has raised a religious and political issue which will attract attention. If he were to make any symbology in front of the press at a game he will need to be punished as many others have been.}

That particular issue is probably one of the thorniest in world politics today. More twists and turns than a twisty-turny thing, and probably best for most people to keep out of, as Mane should have done.
