I got splattered on here when i said the same. I just couldn't understand how club can't buy good players for under 5 million anymore. And now we have. chuffed.

Edwards definitely needs a statue. That is brilliant business. We got in jota thiago tsimikas and 2 cbs spending a measley 10 mill upfront if that. Once the world opens up again the level of debt shouldn't hit us too hard.

Edwards is great at getting players in for relatively low upfront one off's with future payment plans, but it does take me back to the early nineties and my introduction to credit cards which required a huge overall utilising the services of Peter and Paul!
