Calvert-Lewin's goal was a classic poacher's goal. His ball control is really really good as well. don't worry Ed025. You have a really great striker. You will do fine.

{Ed025's Note - calvert-lewin is not the problem haizan, its players getting played who dont seem to give a toss or are simply just not good enough mate, i have great respect for ancelotti but i think he has got things wrong in the last few games, i dont pretend to be the all seeing eye but why not give the youngsters a chance if the ones he is picking are not performing?..

Ed025, what do you think about Ancelotti confirming Pickford will start vs United? I thought that Olsen had a good game yesterday.

{Ed025's Note - big mistake if you ask me CM, i am of the opinion that if you get your chance and take it then its up to the other guy to force you out, im a big fan of carlo and his reputation and CV speak for themselves, but people make mistakes and continually picking perennial under performers like iwobi, delph, bernard and our amazing stand in captain sigurdsson really baffles me, i would play the kids myself mate but they dont ask me.. :)

You never got ahead of yourself Ed25 mate but it can't be said for some other Everton fans, they thought they'd won the league weeks ago mate. At least you have been level headed. It's not over until it's over though mate, as you know, anything can happen in this league but I do think this is the time we will see you move down the ladder somewhat. Your biggest issue is not having enough quality players game in game out, another couple of transfer windows like the summer and it'll be interesting. We shall see mate, I do think Everton need to be patient with ancelloti though and give him time.

{Ed025's Note - im all for giving him time salah but for me nobody is above criticism, boring football and continually picking under-performers is not endearing him to the supporters at all mate, but lets see how things go..

I agree with you Ed. Why would Carlo give Olsen the chance and then not play him afterwards? Was he never going to play the game after, even if he made a number of good saves and kept a clean sheet? He obviously doesn't have full faith in Pickford.

Although who am I to question a champions league winning manager!

{Ed025's Note - i once said that about mourinho CM, sometimes managers make mistakes and yes i think they should be questioned at times, i dont like all this crap about being a traitor if you question a player or a manager, football has and always will be about opinions mate...and thats what makes it so appealing..

Carletto needs to have Pickford drop himself from the team, imho. A poor performance v Utd might do it, or maybe one more. But an italian manager dropping an english national keeper for a swede-the press would have a field day.
