May just be me but I've seen us being linked to Sarr and Thiago but why spend money to bring in these players yet we would sell a talent such as Wilson or Grujic? I don't get it they are talented players and would do just fine if given opportunities. I just hope we don't buy foolishly or give away good talent and take on players that would do an average job or a little above what these which we already have. Klopp can get the best out of them so I'd hope they get a look in preseason. Ywna just my thoughts.

{Ed0666's Note - Have you been raiding mummy and daddy’s secret stash again Y2K3? In what universe are Wilson and Grujic Better than Sarr & Thiago. Mate there’s no comparison. Ismael Sarr is raw but is still miles better than Wilson who is just a superb free kick taker and I think most people would take Thiago over Grujic. I respect you’re opinion tho fella but don’t agree.

Thiago has bossed the midfield at Barcelona and Bayern . he would be an excellent addition to the squad and also be a first team challenger.

I kind of have to agree with Ed's there Y2K3 but I myself isn't overly convince by Sarr and Thiago.
For example Sarr 6 goals in 30 in a poor Watford team and the 40m quoted I believe we would be able to find better and cheaper to come in. As for Thiago he is a quality player when fit but for a player of 29 year and a price of 25m-32m again I believe there are better options out there at a younger age who will have a resalable value.

JDB, how could Thiago have bossed Brca's midfield when he played sporadically for them? The guy refused a new contract and went to Bayern under Pep to get more game time to show his immense talent which to your point, he has at Bayern. I disagree here, man.

I'd like to see Trent given a change in midfield in some of the lesser games this year. See if he can become a Gerrard type player and enhance the midfield with his passing and pressing/ tackling and scoring from mid-long range.

I did not say they are better than sarr or Thiago please don't interpret me wrong, I don't do drugs either lol, I'm just saying the players we have are really good and with guidance and some confidence would potentially get better and instead of spending to get other talents which may not be much better it would do no harm to give them opportunities. If trent wasn't given a chance or Gomez no one would say they would turn out this good. Brewster, Wilson, Grujic and Neco etc. all good talents that can be explored but if the manager doesn't see it that way got to trust he knows best. YNWA.
